Nevada
Requirements for U.S. citizens and non-U.S. citizens are the
same. Non-U.S. should confirm if there are any special documents
that are needed for your country. Licenses are good for a
period of one year from the date of issue. Ceremony must be
performed in Nevada by anyone licensed or authorized to perform
marriage in Nevada.
License Fees: The fee for a marriage license is $50.00
cash.
Applicants must be a Male and a Female, at least 18 years
of age, and not nearer of kin than second cousins or cousins
of half blood, and not having a husband or wife living.
Applicants
may be required to prove their age. Acceptable Identification:
o Driver's License or State-issued I.D. card.
o Original or Certified copy of Birth Certificate.
o Foreign Birth Certificate must be translated into English
and notarized.
o Passport.
o Military Identification.
o Resident alien card.
IMPORTANT: Faxed copies, damaged identification, privately
issued I.D., check cashing cards or photocopies of identification
are unacceptable.
NOTE: Social Security Numbers are required on marriage licenses.
Please be prepared with your number. It is recognized that
non-U.S. citizens will not have a Social Security Number.
Divorced Applicants: Are required to know the Month/Day/Year/City
and State of their divorce. The divorce must be final and
filed with the courts in the state or country granted. You
are not required to bring the divorce decree.
In Nevada there is no blood test or waiting period after a
license is issued.

Georgia
Both Bride and Groom must be at least 18 years. Apply in person.
Have proof of age with a valid form of ID.

o Birth Certificate
o Military ID
o Valid Foreign ID
NOTE: Non-English documents must be accommodated by a certified
translation.
A pre-marital blood test is required. The blood test is only
valid for 30 days. The results must be on a Georgia State Form
- 3411 and signed by a physician.
There is no waiting period in Georgia.
Non-residents of Georgia must apply in the county that they
are having their ceremony. All Georgia residents can apply in
any county in Georgia.
